Simon shook his head and smiled in astonishment. It seemed he\u2019d never met travellers like ourselves before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 All right, then. Where\u2019s your luggage? \u2013 He asked looking around as if he still didn\u2019t quite believe our story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Here, these two backpacks, \u2013 Sveta answered. \u2013 That\u2019s all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That completely discouraged Simon. All the way home, he was asking us about how we managed to travel such distances, with no transport, no things. And when he found out we were world travellers, he was delighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Linda, Linda! \u2013 He shouted out of the window of his car, when we getting close to the house. \u2013 Can you imagine, these two travel around the world with two backpacks hitchhiking and they managed to make it to us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Linda, his wife met us very warmly, fed us with late breakfast and, realising how tired we were, sent us to bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our temporary home was on the banks of the River Tarn, on the edge of the village of Le Riols. Our hosts, an elderly&nbsp; couple from England, welcomed us and gave us their guest room. That was our first experience of travelling on the Workaway system. We worked, had fun, travelled to the surrounding towns and villages, visited castles and stayed at Simon and Linda\u2019s fellows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some days laters when I woke up in the morning, I started to doubt. How dare I live such a life?
