Why come for a consultation if I am not currently looking for a job?

“Why come for a consultation if I’m not currently looking for a job?” Let me tell you a few stories about the executives I’ve consulted.

🚩 One got a promotion in his own company. He was relocated to another country with a full expat package and his children’s education in foreign universities is paid for. He is in the top 50 elite managers of the country and has a lot of different privileges.

🚩 I consulted another CEO for the first time 5 years ago. He also wanted to leave the company, but during the consultation we developed a strategy that he used in negotiations with his shareholders. As a result, he increased his income by 3.5 times and received a 10% stake in the business. He recently came back for a consultation because the situation in his company changed again.

❗ Situations can be very different.

Have you ever refused a tempting job offer because you felt: “I can’t handle it now”? Although everything seemed to be on your side, and you also wanted to move to the next level?

But that same comfort zone stubbornly dictated its own: an apartment, a car, friends, children’s school, a familiar life. And you stayed in place simply because you wanted to lie down a little towards the goal at first, instead of running headlong. And after a while, everyday life sucked you in and you lost motivation. And you give up on your dream 😣

You’ll be surprised, but it often turns out that after lying down a little and getting ready, instead of running, it’s enough to just take a couple of thoughtful steps and then what you planned will come true on its own. Not through force, but because it’s on time!

It’s about making a decision – to work on your career and invest in it.

When you work in one company for a long time, you are in a kind of “bubble”. The circle of communication is limited: you can’t ask your boss anything extra, you can’t discuss your career strategy with your subordinates. Professionals of the same level from other companies are usually competitors.

Who else is in your social circle?

Family, friends and relatives who want to see you successful and confident. Clients in front of whom you need to “keep up appearances” and demonstrate enthusiasm. And sometimes you just want to talk to someone and tell everything as it is! Think about someone! Get unbiased feedback!

Despite the summer and the holiday season, the labor market is currently on the rise and there are a lot of interesting offers. But it is very important to take the first step. And for many, this is a consultation!

In addition to the fact that I see your situation from the outside and can give an objective assessment, I have 25 years of experience in recruiting for companies in 73 countries and a staff of recruiting agencies.

We have enough expertise. But you will have to work too 😉
Because this is your life.

If you are not ready to make an effort and are counting on the red pill, do not come to the consultation.

PS: for those who are looking for a job, I’ll let you in on a secret – this week I’m closing the registration for escorts for August and there’s still one spot! If you were waiting for a sign – here it is 😉
