A client reached out to me recently and said that he searched the Internet for someone with expertise similar to mine but could not find anyone. Indeed, I must admit that somehow, through the years, I have gained unique experience working with the C-level managers of multinational companies in 73 countries. I started working in business in 1997, became a professional recruitment and Executive Search consultant in 1999, and opened my first recruitment agency in 2003. Now, my agency, A.S.Wellas Global Solutions, operates on 5 continents, with employees in 11 countries. My total experience in Talent Acquisition is more than 25 years, and during this time, I have worked with 2000+ international companies of various sizes.

I speak several languages, and I conducted more than 25,000 interviews while working as a recruiter. I still need to count how many resumes I have written during that period, but I’m afraid that the number will be so big no one is going to believe it anyway. I give international career advice on LinkedIn and have 42,000+ subscribers, and on Facebook, where I have 7500 subscribers. For those looking for a new job, there are specialized channels with vacancies in Russia and the CIS and an international one with vacancies in different countries for managers and key employees of international companies. I have Global HR Telegram channel informing about global labor market trends and best management practices worldwide.

What can I say?

On the one hand, everything in recruitment has changed in 25 years. A lot!

On the other hand, nothing has changed at all!

Humans continue to be the most difficult and unreliable subjects of activity. You can never be sure that everything will go as planned. But this is part of the beauty of my work.

Companies’ rapid staff growth gives way to crises and staff reductions. But, as one HR person with 40 years of experience from a large American company told me at the beginning of my career: “Everything is cyclical. After the rise, there is a decline, then a rise again, but as long as companies exist, they will need employees.”

At the end of 2019, we launched a tailor-made one-on-one Career Transition Support program to help Executives in their job searches. As a part of this project, Veniamin and I had 4,000+ hours of consultations over a period of 5 years for clients in the EMEA region, USA/Canada, LatAm, and Asia. Several clients who changed jobs under my supervision in 2019 – 2020 have already returned to continue working together on a new career goal.

Our Career Transition Support program is a 12-step methodology where we move step by step toward the career goal. Unlike traditional outplacement that focuses on group and web-based programs with limited coaching hours and coach availability, our Career Transition Support Program focuses on high-touch, individual coaching customized to each person’s needs. We offer structure, skills, and support to help define, pursue, and secure your next job. You will not be left alone in your job search!

You will have unlimited coach access in between scheduled appointments to address pressing issues that arise. As career experts, we have an extensive client network from which to facilitate introductions and a 100% track record in helping you negotiate better compensation and benefits.

Additionally, since 2019, I have conducted about 500 individual career consultations for candidates in different professions, industries, and specializations. The topics ranged from salary increases to job searches to improving relationships with their management. Some of them were choosing new locations to continue their careers. Some needed career guidance for their high schoolers.

Who usually turns to me for career support?

Executives and Managers who plan to make a leap in their career – change companies, enter a new geography (Europe, USA, Asia, Australia, Middle East, Latin America, Africa), expand their area of responsibility and expertise.

Recruiters very often get all kinds of negative feedback about their work and their role in the recruitment process. I try to do my best to ensure that my work is 100% professional and tailored to the needs of my Clients.

In March 2014, my husband and I went on a nine-month trip around the world, going through Europe, the USA, Mexico, all the countries of Central America, Colombia, and Ecuador. After that, we returned back to Europe and had our “round-the-world” son Teo. When he was 4 months old, we resumed our journey, this time with all our 3children. Until 2022, we lived mainly in Europe. Now, we live in America.
